Normal Game, New Tension

Never before have I gone into a game with as much tension as this one. My NJB team is playing on Sunday, our forth game in a nine-game season. Sounds simple, right?

Well for obvious reasons it isn't a regular game. First of all, we're not in Los Gatos for this game. We will be in Evergreen. Second of all, I have not scored a basket in our last three games. I have been thinking of new ways to score and decided I would play good defense so I can steel the ball, and run downcourt to make a layup. Sounds easy to do, right?

Well, here's the big news. It's not. You can't magicly steel the ball and make a layup. It is hard to steel a ball and most people can't do it just by thinking they can. It reqires down-to-earth training, and you've got to belive in yourself and think you can do it.

And that's not even geting into the ways of winning.

Go for the ball, go for it Henry! You'll get it one day for sure.
